How It Works

Choose Your Wood

Select from rich, honey-toned Kiaat (our most loved) or elegant Whitewashed Pine. Both are sustainably sourced South African
woods, chosen for their beauty and the way they age gracefully over time.

Choose Your Tune

You'll choose between a traditional 18-note wind-up mechanism or a custom digital mechanism that plays your exact song.

Choose Your Message

Add custom engraving. Names, dates, lyrics, or a message from the heart. This is where your music box becomes uniquely, unmistakably yours.

We Handcraft Your Box

Once your design is approved and payment confirmed, I begin crafting. Each box takes approximately 5 days to complete, then it's carefully packaged and sent via courier (2-5 working days).

Best is to allow 2 weeks from order to delivery.

Every keepsake music box is made by hand in my Cape Town studio, never mass produced. I work with a small group of trusted artisans for the woodwork, and I personally guide you through every detail of your custom build.

I work with rich Kiaat and soft Whitewashed Pine, chosen for their beauty, durability, and the way they age over time. Each piece of wood is naturally unique, so grain and tone will vary slightly, part of what makes your box one of a kind.

A deeply personal process
You’re not just placing an order. You’re co-creating a memory-keeper with me. I send a design proof, we refine it together on WhatsApp, and I only engrave once you reply: “Design approved.”

Delivery included
Keepsake music boxes start from R1,250, with standard delivery in South Africa and top-lid engraving included. If a remote-area surcharge applies, I’ll confirm it with you before you pay.

I take on a limited number of boxes each month so every piece gets the care it deserves. This isn’t about rushing or scaling, it’s about quality, intention, and getting it right.
